Purim Jarujamrus obtained a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand, in 2006. He received a Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry from Mahidol University (MU), Thailand, in 2012 under the Royal Golden Jubilee (RGJ) Scholarship from the Thailand Research Fund under the supervision of Professor Juwadee Shiowatana. During his Ph.D. pursuit, he has also been a visiting scientist working with Professor. Dr. Wei Shen at Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. From 2012 to 2016, he was a young lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Ubon Ratchathani University. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in 2016 and Associate Professor from 2020 to the present. He has been focusing on the research and development of paper and thread as substrates for low-cost microfluidics& sensors combined with the functional nanocomposites-based methodologies for environmental monitoring, food monitoring, diagnosis, and the context of analytical chemistry education. He has authored more than 55 peer-reviewed journal papers and/patents. (H-index 15 from Google scholar in Dec/2021)
