Dr. Kyo Chul Chul Lee
KIRAMS (Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences)
Dr. Kyo Chul Lee has been working at Korea Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences(KIRAMS), for nearly 20 years. His specialties are developing of radiopharmaceuticals(oncology and degenerative brain diseases) and its application to clinical trial. Also, designing of targetry system for efficient radionuclide production and development of remote devices for radiolabelling. Many radiopharmaceuticals and labelled compounds produced via these systems have been widely used in his institute for diagnostic and therapeutic medicine.
His current interest is to accelerate a study field of Targeted Alpha Therapy (TAT), which is a novel medical application of alpha-emitters to fight against cancer. In particular, he is tackling on to produce At-211 by using cyclotron and will produce Ac-225 from Ra-226 target.
