Prof Clay S Bennett

Clay S. Bennett received his B.A. in Chemistry from Connecticut College in 1999. He then obtained his Ph.D. under the direction of Amos B. Smith, III at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. Following postdoctoral studies with Chi-Huey Wong at the Scripps Research Institute, he started his independent career at Tufts University in 2008. His current research focuses on the development of new glycosylation methodologies, and their application to the synthesis of antimicrobial oligosaccharides.
